HealthShield Credentialing, LLC operates (collectively “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data that belongs to the people using HealthShield Credentialing services. Anywhere we say “we”, “our”, or “us”,  we are referring to HealthShield Credentialing, LLC, the company that acts as the processor of your information. When we say “you” or “your”, we are assuming you use our Services. Our Terms of Service also govern your use of our Services and together with the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement with us (“Agreement”). Please read our Terms of Service. HealthShield Credentialing, LLC is committed to protecting the security of your personal data with the use of a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When you create an account with us, you must provide your full legal name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete the account signup and creation of your profile. You guarantee the information you provide us is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Information to create your account that is inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information may result in the immediate termination of your account on Services.

2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Your login may only be used by one person. Sharing login information is prohibited.

5. You alone are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.

8. You must be a human. Accounts registered by automated methods are not permitted.

Information We Collect and Use

We use certain information that we collect from you to operate and provide the services.. HealthShield Credentialing, LLC does collect data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our services.

You provide some of this data directly when you create your account profile, update your profile or email us. HealthShield Credentialing, LLC gets some data by recording how you interact with our services by using technologies like cookies, and receiving error reports or usage data from software running on your device.

The use of cookies and other tracking technologies

We use cookies to track and collect information about your activity on our Services, which helps us understand how you use HealthShield Credentialing, LLC which helps us improve our Services.

Your Privacy Rights under the California Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.

According to CalOPPA we agree to the following:

  • Users can visit our site anonymously
  • Easily find our privacy policy on the home page of our website
  • Users will be notified of any changes to our Privacy Page

We use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Our Services may contain links to other sites not operated by us. If you click a third party, you will be directed to that site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

Minors Privacy

We don’t knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you must not use our Services.

  • We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
